How to Use the TUFF-TIE Restraint

Using a TuffTie restraint is a simple process involving three steps. If these steps are always followed correctly the TuffTies restraint is virtually impossible to break free from (withstanding in excess of 500lbs of force)! Here's how to use your Tuff-Tie Restraint

Applying the Tuff Tie - Step 1   Applying the Tuff Tie - Step 2

Step 1 - Insert the Tuff Tie

Insert prisoner's hands into each loop of the
Tuff-Tie restraint.

 

Step 2 - Tighten & Lock

While holding the "pig tail", slide the Tuff-Ties
locking block up snug to the wrists.

     
Applying the Tuff Tie - Step 3    

Step 3 - Double Lock

Make a simple overhand knot with the excess
braid as close as possible to the locking block.
